Providing excellent service to the Dallas community
A&B Animal Clinic is a family oriented clinic established in December 1990 by Dr. Jim Ahumada and his wife Dr. Helene Bergeron. They envisioned a clinic that fostered a welcoming environment for pets and people alike, by providing excellent, affordable, and caring service to the residents of Dallas. Unfortunately, Dr. Ahumada passed away in August 2013. Afterwards, Dr. Bergeron continued to run the clinic according to the vision and ideals that A&B has held dear since 1990 with the help of our Practice Manager and a few other compassionate veterinarians. Since then Dr. B has retired and left the practice in the capable hands of Dr. Laura Wiles (Medical Director), Dr. Briawn Franklin, and Dr. Jennifer Richey.
The next generation of the A&B team is standing by to provide excellent service to you and your pets in a manner that would make Drs. A&B proud! We are currently offering relaxed visits (that would make Dr. A proud!) by utilizing Fear Free techniques. We provide a full range of services from wellness to surgical procedures.
Dr. Richey is the bomb. Every one of the staff is terrific. And my bulldog breaks the door down to get in and has to be dragged out. I swear. Been going here for close to 20 years. – Ann
Wonderful people very caring and very special. Took very good care of our beloved Lucy and Bruce. To their very last breath. – Linda
Dr. Richey not only cured my cat of her diabetes, but has seen my three dogs through a few crises, including heat stroke and stomach and kidney problems. She is so kind and caring, and she really listens. Sixteen paws, and two thumbs up for Dr. Richey! – Ilise
Just had another great A&B visit – the staff is kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Richey does a great job – I have cats and dogs and she takes care of them all and has for over 10 years. I really appreciate the way she listens and finds a reasonable treatment plan. I really feel I can count on Dr. Richey’s care. – Kathryn
